"To the person who uses music as a medium for the expression of ideas, feelings, images, or what have you;

               anything which facilitates this expression is properly his instrument." - Bill Evans, from Conversations with Myself

A little bit about me...

I’m a violist with a passion for contemporary chamber music.  I live in Baltimore where I am in my last year of study with Vicky Chiang at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins.  In addition to contemporary chamber music, I have an abiding love for Central Asian and Middle Eastern folk music.   I have just received the Johns Hopkins PURA grant to pursue a musicology project in Iran next fall.

I’m just getting this site up and running, so check back later for updates, including clips from recent concerts and more.  Thanks!

Email me if you’d like to receive updates about upcoming concerts!
